RAIN GAUGES

2 tipping bucket rain gauges are operating in connection with the station. They are both produced by RIMCO, Australia, and each gauge holds a bucket capacity of 0.2 mm.

Both rain gauges (no. 20456 and 20458) forms a part of a nationwide rain gauge system operated by the Danish Meteorological Institute on behalf of The Water Pollution Committee of The Society of Danish Engineers. 

 
Frejlev North (no. 20458)
Placed on top of the Frejlev main station approximately 15 m above sea level. The photo is taken in a eastern direction. The area around the gauge is unbuilt with the exception of the area towards west.

Frejlev South (no. 20456)
Placed in the southwestern part of the town next to a retention basin approximately 40 m above sea level. The photo is taken in a northern direction. The area around the gauge is unbuilt with the exception of the area towards south.
